While you’re anxious to expose your company to the Internet, there may be some problems waiting in the weeds for you. Since you have no control over who accesses your Web site, your company could become subject to the laws of several states or countries.
One solution to this problem is to always include an agreement on the first screen of your site before allowing deeper access. This type of agreement can greatly limit your liability if it is structured properly.
